Thanks for the live n learn about debit cards and receipts.
We had another weird thing recently. The door handle to our coach broke and we were locked out. Make sure you have an alternate plan to get in if this happens. It can become very expensive.

One pound bacon cheeseburgers and chocolate desserts? Bye, bye diet. Hello heart attack!

I think you would have had a better chance getting your money back if you had used a VISA rather than a debit card. We have stopped using our debit at most places but especially at gas stations. We use the VISA and pay it off every month instead.

Nick,

Small candy/ice cream stores sure are rare but wonderful places. We need a CD that lists old-fashioned ice cream parlors and old-fashioned candy stores. Hey, if you are not interested -- perhaps someone else will create it. Heck, we all know that publishing information is a sure way to get rich (grin).

As a kid I remember to this day having an occasional Tin-Roof sundae for 25 cents at the drug store downtown.
