Crescent City Redwoods KOA, California, is beautiful and clean, and it has 13 acres of redwood forest with tent, cabin, and W/E sites tucked away (they didn't want to disturb the trees with a sewer run). There's also an alder tree grove with larger, flat sites, a large dog park, etc. There are full hookup sites, too, with large spaces, and a really strong wifi signal. Great touring, fishing, boating, hiking, coastal viewing, etc.

Hart Ranch, Rapid City, SD is our favorite. Large sites 50 amp and a great dog park! WE spend time there and have all our medical stuff done. Good doctors.

I didn't know you guys came to Toad Suck Park. I only live about 4 miles from there. If you enjoy that park, you would also like the COE park in Choctaw, AR. It is just outside Clinton, AR (about 45 minutes from Toad Suck Park). The Choctaw park only has electric at the site, but has water and a dump station. It also has wonderful views of Heber Springs Lake.

Next time you are in Arkansas, I would love to meet you!

Right now our #1 is the Saguaro Escapee Park in Benson, AZ. We have a lifetime lease on a great site, and have just installed a park trailer on the site for our domicile.

#2 is the Verde Valley Thousand Trails, especially the upper area by the family lodge, with the pine trees. We watched this park being built, and visited often before we retired. We return often as well.

Beyond that, we seldom return to the same park on a regular basis. We love to try new ones when we can. Last year we had to miss out on Toad Suck because our grandson announced he was getting married in Idaho!
